I recently travelled to Egypt via Seoul in Korea.

Egypt is a fantastic destination with so much to see and experience. With only 7 days we managed to work an amazing itinerary to see some amazing places in this incredible country. We started in Cairo which takes you back in time to the 4000 year old Pyramids and Sphinx, a perfect destination for special interest or educational groups wanting to relate their group travel to history or geography. A visit to the massive Egyptian Museum will keep you entertained all day, especially the mummy room!

We then headed down to Luxor and the River Nile….

In Luxor there is nothing better for an incentive group than spoiling them on a Felucca Boat or a 5 star Nile Cruiser. Give them an opportunity of a lifetime and incorporate a sail down the majestic Nile into your incentive trip. Offer the peaceful excitement only a hot air ballooning can provide over the Valley of Kings, then spend the day wandering through the ancient tombs of the Valley of the Queens. Offer some free time so guests may spend the afternoons relaxing by the pool at one of the stunning 5 star resorts right on the Nile and sunset at Luxor Temple. My experience is that Luxor is a perfect place for an incentive group looking for something different.

I flew with Korean Airlines with the added bonus of spending a night in Seoul in both directions. I highly recommend Seoul as a group travel stopover destination. It is a lively city that is one of the cleanest I have been to in Asia. It’s safe, got fantastic food, great shopping, hospitable people and Korean Airlines is definitely great value with excellent service.
